You will be overseeing a team with four adults with learning disabilities.

Role Overview: As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in providing the highest standards of support to individuals with moderate to severe learning disabilities. Your strong leadership skills will guide and inspire our team, while your comfort with technology will enhance our person-centred care approach. By enabling individuals to make choices about their lives and delivering flexible services that meet their needs, you’ll truly make a positive impact. You will be a leader of a small team and be expected to use care software regularly to record sensitive information about our service users and employees. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the support team, fostering a culture of excellence and compassion.
  • Provide hands-on support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Embrace technology to enhance care delivery and documentation processes.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure the highest quality of care.
  • Support the implementation of person-centred care plans.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive living environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Strong leadership skills and a passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Comfortable using computers and technology to enhance care processes.
  • Diploma in Health & Social Care Level 3 (or equivalent), or willingness to work towards it.
  • Dedication to enabling individuals to have choices about their lives.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Full UK driving license is essential.
