Sleep Team Member

Hours: 10pm – 10am (10pm – 8am Sleep-in, 8am – 10am Background Staff)
Schedule: Variable days starting from 2nd January 2025

At United Support Services, we provide exceptional person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities. Backed by over 70 years of combined experience among our board of directors, we’re excited to expand our supported living services in St Austell.
Role Overview
As a Sleep Team Member, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our service users during the night, while supporting morning routines. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone committed to empowering others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and security of service users during sleep-in hours.
- Respond to emergencies or service user needs during the night.
- Provide morning support with personal care, medication, and meal preparation.
- Assist with various activities to promote independence and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work nights and every other weekend.
- Driving license preferred but not essential.
